In recognition of World Homelessness Day our team slept out on the streets of London to raise awareness of this issue and fundraise for Glassdoor. A total of over £1500 was raised to support this inspirational charity on its mission to make sure no one has to sleep on the streets of London.
Strategic Director Sarah Griffin, took part in the sleep out and said "It is shocking to think that right now a staggering 1 in 50 people in London are classified as homeless and of no fixed abode. Our team has done this two years in a row now and we will continue to help where we can raise funds for Glassdoor and awareness around this important issue. No one should be without a home."
Glassdoor is a charity that coordinates the UK largest open access service for people affected by homelessness. It is open to all, providing a safe place to sleep, advice and daytime services for those with no support network.
