Unitrust secures Safe Haven Certification under Building Security Assessment Scheme

Updated: Oct 22

Unitrust secures Building Security Assessment Scheme (BSAS) certification at 125 Old Broad Steet, London, in collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield

Unitrust is proud to announce that we are one of the first security providers to secure the BSAS certification for our client through the relaunched Building Security Assessment Scheme. This initiative is dedicated to strengthening security and fire safety standards within multi-occupied commercial buildings.

It serves as a benchmark, reflecting the property owner's commitment to safeguarding their premises, staff, and the public. The scheme has been in existence for more than ten years and was originally developed from a joint collaboration involving the City of London Police, the City of London Corporation, representatives from managing agents and the security industry, now updated and refreshed in partnership with National Security Inspectorate to reflect today’s security requirements.

Scott Gough, Managing Director of Unitrust, said: "We are proud to be at the forefront of this essential initiative. Our involvement, alongside our clients, reflects our ongoing commitment to safeguarding the spaces we protect."

This certification recognises our dedication to providing a secure environment for tenants, staff, and visitors, while demonstrating our commitment to continually improving security measures. Unitrust is proud to support this vital initiative, helping to ensure safety across London’s commercial properties.
