We are proud and excited to announce the delivery of our first Safe Haven at 125 Old Broad Street, in collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield and the Safer Business Network, as part of our commitment to the Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls (P-VAWG).
A Safe Haven is a property that allows a temporary place of refuge should someone come into difficulty. This short-term holding point offers these individuals time to arrange a safe onward passage to their next destination. Establishing a Safe Haven in a building is a straightforward and inexpensive process involving basic procedures, training key staff, and ensuring some essential equipment is readily available.
Jonathan Moore, Director of Operations at Unitrust commented: I’m delighted to see the establishment of this Safe Haven in the heart of the City of London. We have a pipeline of other locations to follow in quick succession owing to our clients' fantastic commitment and our teams' hard work. Each one furthers our overall objective of making our City safer."
