Roadshows Raise Awareness On Crime Prevention

During February and March, in partnership with the City of London Police, Unitrust hosted a number of Crime Prevention Roadshows, at its client’s premises as part of a crime prevention initiative.

The Roadshows were delivered jointly with the police and aimed at supporting Unitrust’s clients by providing information to their employees and tenants around current crime issues such as Women’s Safety, Phone thefts, Bag thefts and Cyber Crime. The police also provided bicycle marking and numerous free items to help support the crime prevention roadshow.

Scott Gough, Managing Director at Unitrust said “Wherever possible we are committed to improving understanding around crime related issues as well as assisting the police in public engagement. It is also an opportunity for us to add value to our clients and help them keep their employees and tenants safe.”

Malcolm Kay, Head of Operations at Unitrust added “We are very grateful to our clients, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank and Revantage, who without their commitment to their staff and tenants, we would not have had the opportunity to bring this added value. We must also thank our service partners, Portico, St James Facilities for assisting with the facilities and set up.

“Finally, we would also like to thank Chief Inspector Ray Marskell, Inspector Joe Easterbrook and the Community Policing Teams for their support and engagement at all these events, and for future events.”

This is the second year Unitrust has successfully delivered roadshows for London based clients and it plans to continue this initiative during 2023 and beyond.
